Auckland Harbour Bridge
Resurfacing the Auckland Harbour Bridge clip-on lanes is a technically complex project where a lot can go wrong. Aggregate has to be crushed to a precise size, dried in an aggregate drier and bagged in batches, along with a specialist binder being applied to create a new wearing course.
Fiji International Airport
By forming a partnership with a local contractor and developing a mix design utilising local aggregates and providing specialist equipment and expertise has lead to Fiji International Airport now having a runaway that will sustain an Airbus A380 emergency landing.
Cameron Road
Cameron Road in Tauranga is a key arterial route and subsequently construction had to be managed while widening the road ensuring contra-flows and access to businesses were maintained.
Mercer Longswamp
Completing the Mercer Longswamp section of the Waikato Expressway involved building stretches of the highway during the winter months. There was only a window of approximately three hours per day when the atmospheric conditions were suitable for sealing.
Newmarket Viaduct
The Newmarket Viaduct required a specialist ‘blonde asphalt’ to be applied to counter thermo-reflective issues associated with a failing bridge design. Work was undertaken in the busiest sections of the motorway, with 150,000 VPD.
Telescopic Bitumen Sprayer
Our up to date fleet of telescopic bitumen sprayers reduce the on-site footprint required for sealing. Telescopic spray bars allow enhanced safety, efficiency and manoeuvrability around road works sites.
Material Transfer Vehicle
The fundamental reason for road failure is a segregated mix – either by temperature or of material. The Material Transfer Vehicle eliminates the potential of segregation occurring through disruption of asphalt or loading errors.
